Lead in drinking water is primarily from materials and components associated with service lines and home plumbing.

We are responsible for providing high quality drinking water; however, we cannot control the variety of materials used in plumbing components. Central Arkansas Water desires to keep consumers informed about the inventory of all service lines within its distribution system, including the customer-owned portion between the meter and home as part of its continued implementation of the Environmental Protection Agency Lead (EPA) and Copper Rule Revisions.
